Micro Hydro

Micro hydro sometimes is spelled as one word and other times as two and sometimes with a dash as micro-hydro. Micro hydro is typically defined as small scale hydro generation up to 100kW.  This is accomplished by diversion of all or part of a stream into a pipe over a distance to achieve head (elevation change).  the pressurized water is directed through a nozzle at a wheel that spins a motor to produce power.

We have been providing components for microhydro systems so people all over the world can produce power on their property, whether for their own use or to sell back to the grid.
